The Landships web site by Peter Kempf is not only a wealth of information on Imperial German artillery, but the forum members are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I have spent hours reading through the artillery forums.

There are painfully few useful printed references to Imperial German artillery. This book is does not discuss each cannon in order, however, it is what I would call "the best of limited options" and an enjoyable read. Jäger, Herbert. German Artillery of World War One.
