Eigentumsstück (private purchase) Attila for a Gefreiter (Senior Private) from Braunschweigisches Husaren-Regt. Nr.17.

The Attila is a high quality black doe-skin wool with bright yellow cord braiding, gilt toggle buttons and rosettes. Five rows of ornamental yellow braiding was worn on the chest, as well as on the front, collar, cuffs and rear. The braiding was looped on both sleeves in a Hungarian knot.

The Attila is an in un-worn condition.

The buttons on both shoulder cords are for the 3rd Eskadron (3rd Squadron).
