Platform Supports Period photos show that behind each gun platform were vertical beams with a "foot" shape at the bottom to support the shield. This photo of Deutschland shows these supports on the Fore boat deck gun position. Note that on Deutschland, the Fore gun positions were open, but on Pommern they had a roof. |

| A New Tool! "The Chopper" I ordered Plastrut T2 90082 1/16" / 1.6mm T shape plastic strips and cut them on a new tool called "The Chopper". This thing is brilliant. It cuts numerous plastic at exactly the size set, and cuts them clean. |

| Adding the Platform Supports
Once cut to length on "The Chopper", the vertical "T" beams were added to each gun platform and the Aft wall. |
