Adding the Aft Wall Supports
After holes were drilled all along the deck to accommodate the supports, piano wire was cut and glued into place. The wall looks large in this photo,
but it is actually only 11mm tall at the highest point.
I regretted adding these at this stage and I should have waited until after the deck was painted.

The Kommandoturm (Command Tower or Armoured Bridge)
Photographs of the five ships of the Deutschland class show that only two ships: Pommern and Deutschland, had the tall two-story Kommandoturm
as seen in this photo of Pommern.

The Kommandoturm for Hannover, Schlesien, and Schleswig-Holstein
The Kommandoturm for Hannover, Schlesien, and Schleswig-Holstein had the lower two-step type, similar to those used on the battle cruisers such as Derflinger etc.
