I still had a piece of the child's whistle that I had used to make the Aft Kommandoturm (Command Tower or Armoured Bridge) which turned out to be a suitable diameter, so this was cut into two strips and styrene brackets were glued on. The rest of the machinery was made from scraps laying around the workshop. |

| Funnel Deck Air Vents On either side of the centre funnel, was a large air vent pointing aft (back). Not sure what these were for, but they had to be made. |

| Making the Basic Shape As the air vents had to sit flat, I started off with a flat piece of wood and then glued styrene plastic cut to the correct angle onto both sides. Then they were glued to a piece of styrene for the front, trimmed, and then done again for the back. |
