Aft Searchlight Platform
The double platform for the Aft (rear) searchlights was made the same as the upper platforms, except that the Aft 'crow's nest' had a roof that the platform sat on. In this photo, the searchlight platform is upside-down showing the supports that attach to the roof of the 'crow's nest'.

Assembled Platforms
Once the platforms were assembled, I used PLM Marinedetails' Nr. 84 Relingstütze, 11 mm hoch, dreizügig, abgeschrägt für Plattformen around each platform and added the rail with nickel-silver wire which is more stiff than brass wire. Here is the assembled Fore (front) mast top.

Funnel Searchlight Platforms
On the Fore (front) funnel were two platforms for searchlights. I compared all available photos to determine the height and the way it was constructed, and finally decided on 1/32 brass L beam with wire supports. There is no way to make anything square without a jig, so a jig was made from wood for the front and side sections to be soldered together.
