The Ship's Whistle
The ship's whistle itself was made from brass tube. It was turned on my hobby drill and then the opening was cut with a cutting disk. I built the whistle according to Lothar Wischmeyer's superb SMS Elsass plans which was one of the Braunschweig class of ships immediately before the Deutschland class. The whistle is only 21 mm long! Note also the little stand that is beside where the horn will go has been added.

Rear Funnel Horn
The rear funnel had a similar steam pipe for a horn. This was also constructed from brass rod and secured with Peter's pipe brackets. The actual horns themselves will be made later, when I figure out how to make them. Right now, I have no idea? Like the front funnel, the little stand that is beside where the horn will go has been added.
