Forward Lower Battery (Gun) Deck The same was done for the front of the hull. As with the aft gun deck, this gave me a perfectly flat surface to glue the casemates onto. You can see here that they have been glued into position on the lower battery deck. Click Once To Enlarge

Connecting the Batteries to the Bow & Stern Now I was able to add the section that connects the forward and aft casemates with the bow and the stern. This is the last thing I had to do for basic hull construction. Click Once To Enlarge
