The Hull Torpedo Tubes
The Deutschland class, like most German battle ships of this era, carried two torpedo tubes on each side of the hull.

The torpedo tube locations were marked from the drawings and then drilled out. The basic shape was made from styrene and then faired into the hull with auto-body filler. The actual torpedo hatch on the inside will be added during the hull detailing.
The Rudder
I determined that the rudder was the same as that on the SMS Elsass, so I used the superb plans drawn by Lothar Witchmeyer of the SMS Elsass to make the rudder. Here are the basic parts for the rudder made from styrene plastic.
