Hull Tying-up Booms
On Pommern's lower decks were booms that swung out for tying up boats. There was one on both sides, with a large boom on the bow, and a short one on the stern.

Hinges
As the hull tying-up booms swung out, I made small brass hinges, as if they would actually swing out, they would look more realistic. To give you an idea of scale, the top rounded pin on the hinge, is a sewing pin.

Booms Mounted
There were several brackets that mounted the boom to the side of the vertical lower deck, and once the boom was secured it looked quite accurate. There were ladders on the bow section to get down to the lower deck, as there were no stairs or doors on the bow in this area, so these have been added as well.
