Biography |
| On a beautiful summer day, on the 9th of July 1997, in Oromocto New Brunswick, a litter of pups was born to "Millie" a pure-bred Dachshund. Eagerly awaiting the news, I rushed over the next day to see the squirming little pile of pups. | |
One in particular, stood out from the rest. He was more affectionate and much larger than the rest. I knew immediately, this was "der Kaiser". |
Once home, he quickly adapted to life with me and soon became the master of the house.
Here he is, hard at work. |
| Kaiser was soon presented in a suitable fashion to the world. | |
For those who think Kaiser is named after the bun,
He is named after the last emperor of Germany, Kaiser Wilhelm II (1859 - 1941).

There was a Dachshund Once so long,
He hadn't any notion,
How long it took to notify His tail of his emotion.
And so it happened, While his eyes
Were filled with woe and sadness,
His little tail went wagging on, Because of previous gladness.
