| Securing the Aft Deck in Place The Aft deck wall was made by cutting a brass strip on the Proxxon and soldering it onto brass sheet the shape of the Aft deck. Once soldered, the
deck was glued and clamped with epoxy. The Aft deck had to be in place before I could make the boat deck 8,8cm gun platforms.

Making it Flush I used a file to make sure the upper brass section was flush with the lower wooden half. Crude, but effective.

Aft Deck in Position Here is the Aft deck in position. I have already added the hand rail on top of the wall cut from thin strips of brass on the Proxxon saw and soldered on. Yes, it was as difficult as it sounds. The base for the Aft 8,8cm guns was cut from plastic and glued into place.
