Lower Decks As the lower decks had rather complicated shapes, I cut a template for each section and used it to cut a piece from veneer. The header planks and inside edge header planks were then cut from one piece and glued on top. Click Once To Enlarge

Checking the Fit Each lower deck section was carefully sanded to ensure it would fit on the lower decks where it would eventually go. Click Once To Enlarge

More Planking The four lower decks were then planked like the upper decks. I was short planks, so I had to cut some more. By this point, I had had enough of planking. Ugh. In total, I cut and laid 1150 planks. Click Once To Enlarge
