Basic Shape The basic shape of the hinges was made using the plastic tubing. It was quite complicated, as the photo shows several different diameters of hinge, which finally tapers down near the bottom. Click Once To Enlarge

Side Ribs The ribbing on the sides was added onto the four base strips and sanded down to a taper at the edges. Finally, the hinges were blended together using Tamiya Polyester Putty. Click Once To Enlarge

Finally an Accurate Rudder Once primed, I had an accurate Pommern rudder which was completely different than the first one I had made, but overall, much more interesting. Click Once To Enlarge
