| Fleckerstand Rope Ladders
Pommern had rope ladders from the mid-mast platforms and the "Fleckerstands" (the stations for gun spotters reporting directly to the Gunnery Officer) positions higher up the mast. I used 0,25 mm MOROPE by Andreas Gondensen (a superb product) and the centerpieces of PLM Marinedetails Nr. 88 Relingstütze, 16 mm hoch (Four-hole railing stanchions 16 mm tall). The rope was laid out on a drawn template and the cut stanchions were threaded onto the 0,25 mm MOROPE. |

| Fleckerstand now has access. After painting black, I scratch-built mountings and secured them to the Fleckerstands and the mid-mast platforms. |

| Ship's Crane In addition to the three funnels, one of the most distinctive visual identifiers of the Deutschland-Klasse were the two large ship's cranes on either side mid-ship for handling the ship's boats. |
