Hull Fittings
The hull had some fittings that had to be made from scratch such as this part on the side for tying the ship up at dockside (I have no idea what its called). A master was made of the flat section with eight individually drilled and glued in rivets, which was then cast, glued on, holes drilled in, and a brass semi-circle glued in.

Back to the Future
With the hull details on and the Sponsons rebuilt, it was finally time to get the hull ready for repainting. Now I was back to where I was in 2003; priming, sanding, priming, sanding......

Ready (again) to Paint
Finally it was ready to be repainted. I taped the water-line thinking that I could save it, but I could not; too many scratches and damage from the re-work. So I ended up having to repaint that as well.
