Test Fit For each porthole, I used a piece of the brass 5/32 tubing to see if it was too tight. As it turned out, every single one was too tight, from primer and paint etc. Click Once To Enlarge

Enlarging Each hole was sanded with a round file, checked again with the brass 5/32 tubing, sanded, checked, until the tube would slide in. Click Once To Enlarge

Applying Paint Rather than use glue, I used a trick my friend Friedhelm Wahl told me about; he suggested using paint, as that would hold the portholes in, and hide some of the tiny chips to the paint around the hole which resulted from the filing. Click Once To Enlarge
