Photo-etched Hand Wheels The Photo-etched hand wheels for elevation/depression and traversing were then glued onto the guns. They come flat, so they had to be punched down into a jig to make them all concave.
Note that the traversing hand wheel is connected by a brass rod to the gun base.

8,8cm Battery In photos of the older 8,8 cm SK L/30 the barrels flare out a bit on the end, but fortunately on the 8,8 cm SK L/35 they appear straight in photos, so I decided to use this as an excuse to use a 2mm brass tube for the barrel. With the barrels on, my my little 8,8cm battery was progressing well.

Aiming Bracket I am perplexed what to call this part. It was a bracket that the gunner would support himself against while aiming and firing. Brass rod was bent into the correct shape, and then soldered onto a section of brass tube that had been cut to 1mm on my Proxxon saw, and then cut in half.
